Julia R. Elmer, PhD
Assistant Vice President, Data & Analytics, Huntington Bank, USA

Julia is a curious person with a global mindset, and she believes in the power of education – especially international education – to change lives. To this day, she stays in contact with pen-pals she has been writing to since primary school and with her German host family with whom she spent her final year of high school as a Congress-Bundestag exchange student. As the first person in her family to finish high school, she has been extremely fortunate to work on three continents and live on five.

Julia is an urban planner (MCRP / PhD) and public health (MPH) professional by training, and she currently works in data analytics. She’s an experienced servant leader with an interactive style, and her strong commitment to the creation of equity has guided many of her life choices. She’s passionate about animals, One Health, travel, culinary projects, and all things book-related.

"I had the pleasure of working with Ayusha when we both lived in Australia, so I’m familiar with the very high quality conferences, forums, and events she produces. I’m thrilled to be part of this work aimed at providing a platform for youth all over the world to grapple with the ‘wicked problems’ we face as they come together to propose solutions. My efforts are dedicated mostly toward making connections for the Teenspire team and ensuring that youth with fewer resources have what they need to engage fully with and benefit from all that Teenspire has to offer them.”
